<p>The carrier, designed to allow a baby to be carried on the back, consists of a back panel (1) which acts as a frame, shoulder straps (3), a seat (16) for the baby, basically U-shaped and connected at the front to the panel, a rear face (17) to support the baby's back, and a rounded bottom (18). The carrier has adjusters (23) for positioning and locking the front section of the seat, which moves in a sleeve fastened to the panel. The adjusters are in the form of straps and buckles connected to the carrier's shoulder straps. The top of the back panels has a shock absorbing pad (20), and the seat has two side panels (21B, 21C) on each side, fastened by a strap (50). The seat is made from a core of a foam-type material, pref. of EVA, sandwiched between a layer of a supple material like polyester and a material like Nylex (RTM).</p> |
