[Problem] To provide a sample housing/storage container of which the container main body side is molded so as to exhibit a sealing function and therefore secure the internal air tightness of the container. [Solution] A sample housing/storage container 100 is produced by molding a first molded part 210 and a second molded part 220 integrally. The first molded part 210 is molded as a base part of a container main body. The second molded part 220 includes at least a part which is an opening edge part of the container main body and which contacts with a sealing part of a lid 300. The first molded part 210 is formed from a first resin material such as polypropylene, and the second molded part 220 including the opening edge part is formed from a second resin material suitable for a sealing member that can secure the air tightness between an opening part of the container main body and the lid 300, such as TPE. The second molded part 220, which can function as the sealing member, is molded integrally on the opening edge part side of the container main body. The second molded part 220 may be integrally formed as a part that extends from the bottom of the container main body to the opening edge part. |
