The present disclosure is related to an automatic food product packaging machine installed in a production line, which is supplied with bulk product for packaging the same, such as rice, beans or other grains, and which is intended to dispense said bulk product in predetermined amounts of weight to a packaging station. The machine has dispensing gates whose function is to deliver the same amount of product in each of the packaging bags. The dispensing gate is equipped with a telescopic cup system and can be adjusted to compensate variations in density of the product to be packaged. The set of cups is exchangeable when desired to change the appearance or the grammage of the product to be packaged.
