PURPOSE:To obtain a beautifying cosmetic having excellent effects on prevention of dark skin and rapidly lightening effects on dark skin free from skin irritation, by blending calcium hopantenate with a specific dibasic acid ester. CONSTITUTION:A beautifying cosmetic which contains (A) 0.05-2.0wt.%, preferably 0.1-1.5wt.% based on sum of a composition of calcium hopantenate and (B) 0.05-10.0wt.% dibasic acid ester such as adipic acid mono-diester shown by the formula (R1 and R2 are 1-8C straight-chain alkyl or alkenyl and further R2 is H; n is 1-13 integer) as active ingredients, will not cause skin irritation even in application to unstable skin after sunburn and shows the above- mentioned effects by synergistic actions of melanin dyestuff formation inhibitory action by tyrosinase inhibitory action of the component B and skin function promoting effects by blood circulation improving action of the component A. |
