PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding cassette in a simple structure allowing presence of sheet to be securely confirmed.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding cassette 2 comprises: a storage area 10a storing sheets; a front surface part 12 disposed on a downstream side of a drawing direction with respect to the storage area 10a; and a bottom surface part 11 on which the sheets are placed. The front surface part 12 is provided with an opening part 12b to allow the storage area 10a to be visually checked. The bottom surface part 11 of the storage area 10a is formed in white or a pale color. At least a part of visible region in the storage area 10a to be visually checked through the opening part 12b is formed in a color different, by a Munsell brightness 3 or more, from the color of a bright color area of bottom surface part 11 formed in white or the pale color.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
