PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of easily switching a separation unit of a printer from a continuous issuance position to a separation issuance position.SOLUTION: A separation unit 4 is slidably and rockably installed on a support base 41 by engaging a guide rail hole 4ch with a shaft 42. A separation roller 4a moves to a separation issuance position opposed to a platen roller 10, when an opening-closing cover 3 is at a closing position, by rocking in the second direction from a rocking end position in a state of engaging a tip part side with the opening-closing cover 3 for moving to: a continuous issuance position where one end of the guide rail hole 4ch abuts on the shaft 42; a position where the tip part side exists in a rocking locus of the opening-closing cover 3 by rocking in a first direction of separating from a thermal head 28 with the shaft 42 abutting on the other end of the guide rail hole 4ch as a fulcrum, that is, the rocking end position of becoming a rocking end, and a closing position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 |
