<p>The switching stages incorporate static FET switches (24, 28, 38, 40, 44, 46, 50, 52, etc.) with control voltage significantly higher than the battery voltage. The device delivers control logic signal below the battery voltage. Protection from electromagnetic interference is provided by voltage shifters (58) which raise the control logic signals to a level compatible with the static switch control voltages and above the nominal level of stray voltages liable to appear at the FET terminals. The active components of the voltage shifters are monolithically integrated into the microcircuit (16) contg. the signal input and switching stages.</p> |
