摘要 Methods and systems of analyzing a reservoir fluid based on surface measurements of fluids circulated in a wellbore are provided. A fluid (e.g., a drilling fluid) with known properties is circulated within a wellbore where it is exposed to a reservoir fluid. A gas extractor is used to analyze a sample of the gas phase of the circulated fluid to determine the composition of the gas phase. Partitioning coefficients are used to calculate the composition of the solid, aqueous, organic, and gas phases of the circulated fluid. The composition of the fluid before and after circulation through the wellbore is compared to determine the composition of the reservoir fluids.
