<p>PURPOSE: To provide an organic and inorganic composition without corroding a metallic part and excellent in the flame resistance, and a small-sized switch excellent in insulating performance after opening and closing of an electrode. CONSTITUTION: A base 2 of a case body is an organic and inorganic composite constituent having resin of 15 to 70wt.% and one or more kind of inorganic component of 80 to 30wt.% to be dehydrated at temperatures above 150 deg.C. When it is exposed to combustion, the combustion is restrained by steam from the inorganic component contained in the organic and inorganic composite constituent, and to be dehydrated at temperatures above 150 deg.C, and simultaneously, combustion heat is removed by the endothermic reaction in generating of the steam. Moreover, in a switch provided with a molded article whose whole part or one part is made of the organic and inorganic composite constituent, for example, the base inner side 2a of the base 2 of the case body is formed of the organic and inorganic composite constituent having resin of 15 to 70wt.% and one or more kind inorganic component of 80 to 30wt.% to be dehydrated at temperatures above 150 deg.C.</p> |
