PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device which can attain cost reduction in a paper reversing unit for printing both the sides of a paper sheet and minimize the installation area of the device by making the paper reversing unit smaller. CONSTITUTION: This image forming device consists of an image forming device body 101 and a paper reversing unit 102. The paper reversing unit 102 is provided with the second paper feed unit 118. A part of the reversing guide 158 and the conveyance guide 159 of a reversing conveyance passage in the paper reversing unit 102 is provided with a reversing conveyance common passage 154. A part of the reversing guide 158 and paper feed conveyance passage of the second paper feed unit 118 are made common as a common conveyance passage 157. The paper 140 guided to the reversing guide 158 is constructed so as to reach a common conveyance passage 137.
