PURPOSE: To measure a shift from a scheduled propulsion line of a propulsion machine easily and accurately by recognizing the distance between an origin and a reference mark as a known dimension and calculating a coefficient for converting a pixel on a target image into a distance. CONSTITUTION: A camera 19 located in a propulsion machine at a predetermined position in the rear of a target 15 picks up the image of the target 15 which is then inputted to a frame memory 21. The frame memory 21 delivers a video signal to a monitor screen CRT 22, stores an analyzed image of the target 15 on the screen, and delivers the analyzed image to a CPU 23. The analyzed image is presented on a CRT 25 at an image display section, provided with a screen over a predetermined number of pixels, where it is monitored. Actual shift of an objective point, being set for each propulsion state, from a reference point prior to starting the propulsion is determined based on a space dimension on the target 15 recognized as a known value and a pixel pitch determined by a corresponding number of pixels. |
