PURPOSE: To easily perform the registration of a slave equipment. CONSTITUTION: The registration of the slave equipment is performed by transmitting a slave equipment registration signal from an automatic gas meter 6 side via the slave equipment 5, and performing communication between a radio master equipment 4 or 4a set in such relation proportional to the inverse of communication wave strength. The radio master equipment 4 or 4a receiving such slave equipment registration calls a managing center 1, and registers the IDs, equipment numbers of the automatic gas meter 6 and the radio master equipment 4 or 4a, etc. The managing center 1 confirms the communication by calling the automatic gas meter 6 after such registration is completed.
