PURPOSE: To provide a color image forming device capable of miniaturizing a developing device and a toner supply container separately provided from the developing device and making an entire device small in size and comparatively inexpensive. CONSTITUTION: In this color image forming device, a cleaning device 2, four pairs of electrifiers 3Y, 3M, 3C and 3K and developing devices 5Y, 5M, 5C and 5K, and a transfer means 12 are disposed on the outer periphery of a rotating drum-like image forming body 1, and four image exposure means 4Y, 4M, 4C and 4K are disposed inside the image forming body 1, then a toner image formed on the image forming body by repeating electrification, image exposure and development is transferred on a transfer material. By assembling the image forming body 1 in a cartridge frame 30 and inserting and attaching it in a device main body 20, the image exposure means provided on the device main body side are housed inside and disposed two by two symmetrically right and left with reference to a perpendicular passing the center of the rotation of the image forming body to which the developing device is attached so as to be separated from the image forming body and to be taken out from the device main body further after they are separated from the image forming body on the device main body side. Then, the cartridge frame 30 can be attached to/detached from the device main body 20. |
