PURPOSE: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which can extract a bloodstream information under constant removal of wall informations by averaging velocities at points in a specified area of an examinee body being weighted by the amplitudes at the respective points to remove the wall informations from a received signal according to the weighted velocities. CONSTITUTION: A wall information removing section is provided with an amplitude calculating means 154 and a weighted average means 155. The amplitude calculating means 154 calculates the amplitude of a received signal SA and a wall velocity calculating means 151 calculates a wall velocity based on the received signal SA. The wall velocity is weighted by the amplitude at the weighted average means 155 and a moving average of the results is determined one-dimensionally in a depth direction or two-dimensionally within a tomographic plane to obtain a weighted average wall velocity. Then, a coefficient based on the weighted average wall velocity is set on a complex MTI filter provided on a wall information removing means 153. This constitution can prevent the removal of bloodstream information from the wall information removing means 153 even when an bloodstream information is obtained by the wall velocity calculating means 151. |
