PURPOSE: To clarify degrees in which character spaces and line spaces set as format information must be changed to display the whole of one page within one picture at the time of outputting a one-page portion of data to the layout picture. CONSTITUTION: A central processing unit 1 takes the character size, which is set as the format in a RAM 13, as character spaces and line spaces for layout display to display the table data in the layout picture. The range of the table which can be displayed on the layout picture at the time or outputting table data with present character spaces and line spaces is discriminated and displayed. Present character spaces and line spaces are reduced stepwise, and degrees in which character spaces and line spaces must be changed at the time of outputting the table data with changed character spaces and line spaces to display the whole of the table within one picture are discriminated and displayed. |
