PURPOSE: To commonly use a storage case by a method wherein the storage case commonly used for information recording medium is shaped to have an area larger than plane shapes of a plurality of information recording media of different shapes. CONSTITUTION: A CD and ROM cartridge common-use storage case 10 is shaped to have an area larger than plane shapes of a CD 1 and a ROM cartridge 4 of different shapes. A center hole 2 of the CD 1 is applied to a grip part 22 of the common-use storage case 10, and the vicinity of the center hole 2 is pressed toward a bottom body part 29. A cylindrical part 24 is deformed toward the center, and the center hole 2 is fitted over the cylindrical part 24 of the grip part 22. Four corners of the ROM cartridge 4 are aligned with ROM cartridge fitting cutouts of the common-use storage case 10, and a center blind hole 6 is applied to the grip part 22 and pressed toward the bottom body part 29. As a CD support part 23 is warped toward the bottom body part 29, the cylindrical part 24 is deformed toward the center. The center blind hole 6 of the ROM cartridge 4 is fitted over the cylindrical part 24 of the grip part 22. |
