PURPOSE: To obtain a recording material having good coloring and decoloring properties and high added value by using a color coupler of an azaphthalide compound which is colored in blue by heating and at least one kind of compound selected from fluorans and a reversible developer of specified alkyl urea. CONSTITUTION: In a reversibly thermosensible recording material, usually a reversibly thermosensible layer containing colorless or hypochromic electron donating dye and an electron accepting acid substance which is reversibly colored or decolored by heating is mounted on a support such as paper. An azaphthalide compound which is colored in blue by heating and at least one kind of a fluoran compound selected from 3-diethylamino-6-methyl-7- chlorofluorane and 3-(N,N-diethylamino)-5-methyl-7-(N,N-dibenzylamino)-fluorane are used as the dye; N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-N'-alkyl urea expressed by a formula is used as the acid substance. |
