PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of easily positioning a lens in a short time in the case of changing the magnification of an image. CONSTITUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a projection lens 3 projecting reflected light obtained by optically scanning an original and mechanisms (11, 21, 23, 30, 31 and 32) for moving the lens 3 in accordance with image forming magnification. A 1st flag 35 consisting of plural recessed and projected parts is formed on a lens supporting body 34 for supporting the projection lens and a 2nd flag 36 is formed on a side opposed to the flag 35, then the positional information on the projection lens is provided by the respective flags. Furthermore, a sensor 37 for detecting the 1st flag 35 and a sensor 38 for detecting the 2nd flag 36 are arranged on a main body side, and the projection lens is rapidly and accurately positioned based on the positional information on the flag. |
