PURPOSE: To eliminate a necessity of gear shift operation for obtaining allowance for shift down or shift up immediately after gear shift to the determined speed gear step is done. CONSTITUTION: When a change lever 10 is operated, a transmission controller 14 recognizes a lever position before the operation and a lever position after the operation, finds to which gear step gear shift is done by referring to a shift indication signal generation table based on a signal from a change lever position switch 13, and sends a signal for changing gear to a shift standard gear step from the controller 14 to a change gear actuator 4. The controller 14 changes gear to the shift standard gear step when the shift operation is done from R, N or 1 to H, to a gear step of the shift standard gear step +1 when the shift operation is done from R, N or 1 to UP, and to a gear step of the shift standard gear step -1 when the shift operation is done from R, N or 1 to DOWN. |
