PURPOSE: To prevent suspending toner from being stuck onto the seal panel of an exposure beam. CONSTITUTION: This image forming device 1 is provided with an upper frame equipped with an optical system and a lower frame 12 housing an image carrier 20, a developing unit 40 and the like. The exposure beam B is transmitted through the transparent seal panel 122 to irradiate the carrier 20. An air flow A1 supplied from a positive-pressure air duct A is supplied to the back surface of the shield 72 of an electrostatic charge device 70. One part of air is passed through an aperture part A3 and sent to the panel 122 side. Besides, it flows to the carrier side 20 through a gap G forming the optical path of the irradiation beam as the air flow A6 . The air flow A7 is sucked to the inside of a suction duct 220 through the aperture part and the suspending toner advancing to the panel 122 from the unit 40 and the like is prevented from being attached to the panel 122. |
