PURPOSE: To provide a toner cartridge (an electrostatic recorder using the toner cartridge) capable of preventing toner from being leaked and scattered from a shutter for opening/closing a toner supply port. CONSTITUTION: This toner cartridge is equipped with a toner case part 2 storing the toner, a rotatable agitator 4 stirring the toner stored in the toner case part 2, a toner supply part 3 provided on one side of the toner case part 2, a supply roller 5 disposed in the toner supply part 3 and attracting the toner, a rib 6 scraping the toner attracted to the roller 5, the toner supply port 7 communicating with a developing part, and the shutter means disposed near the outside of the toner supply port 7 and opening/closing the toner supply port; and a toner leakage preventing material 9 is attached to the shutter means. |
