<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an optimum paper sheet conveying speed for discharging/ conveying printed paper sheets according to the paper sizes and kinds and to prevent such a trouble as paper jamming by eliminating paper sheet rear end remnants on the bin of a sorter used by connecting it to a mimeograph machine through a belt conveyance device as its intermediate conveyance device. CONSTITUTION: The control device for paper sheet conveying speed of a sorter is composed of an intermediate conveyance device 52 for conveying printed paper sheets to respective bins of a sorter 2 at a specified paper sheet conveyance speed. It is also consisted of paper sheet size detecting sensors 38a, 38b, 38c, 38d, 39 for detecting paper sheet sizes, paper sheet kind setting means 98, 81 for setting the thickness of paper sheets and paper sheet kinds such as the quality of paper, and a sorter control device 4 for changing the paper sheet conveyance speed based on respective signals from the paper sheet size detecting sensors 38a, 38b, 38c, 38d, 39 and the paper sheet kind setting means 96, 81.</p> |
