ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TRANSFER PAPER AND COLOR PICTURE FORMING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide an electrophotographic transfer paper and color picture forming method by which the picture defect owing to an electric discharge is reduced even when both sides are recorded in low-humidity environment, the penetration of the picture to the rear which is necessary as a both-side transfer paper is hardly caused the picture is not roughened even in the ordinary and high-humidity environment as well as in the low-humidity environment and capable of forming a highly and full-colored picture free of defects on both sides. CONSTITUTION: A coating layer consisting essentially of a pigment and an adhesive is provided on at least one side of a base paper to form an electrophotographic transfer paper. In this case, the basic weight is controlled to >=80g/m<2> , the opacity to >=90% and the volume resistivity(VR) when humidified at 10 deg.C and 30% RH for 12hr to 1×10<12> -6×10<13>Ω.cm, and the VR and the surface resistivity(SR) when humidified at 10 deg.C and 30% RH for 12hr are limited to conform to Log(VR/SR) <=1.5(cm). A color picture is formed by using this electrophotographic transfer paper.
