PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a shoulder anchor equipped with the lock mechanism of a seat belt device, and inexpensively manufacture the device. CONSTITUTION: Regarding the seat belt device where webbing 3 running from a retractor 2 is passed through the opening 14 of a shoulder anchor 4 suspended from a side body 1, and returned for extension to a crew-member's shoulders, a stopper valve 19 faced to the opening 14 of the shoulder anchor 4 is formed at a position between the opening 14 and the side body 1, so as to extend from the lower end of the opening 14 up to a position where the forward end 20 of the valve 19 bends and comes in contact with the upper end of the opening 14. Then, the webbing 3 is extended to the opening 14 via the forward end 20 of the valve 19. According to this construction, the webbing 3 passing through the shoulder anchor 4 is prevented from being pulled out because of the flex of the valve 19, upon exposure to sudden tension. Also, the valve 19 is integrated with the shoulder anchor 4 for simple construction, and also can be integrally molded. |
