PURPOSE: To make a connection preferentially at necessary connection request when many users make requests for connection with a data base. CONSTITUTION: This is a device which makes a connection by checking the identification name and password of a user, and equipped with a connected user number counter 3-4 which counts the number of users that are currently connected, a connected user number setting part 3-2 which sets the number of users that can be connected, idle time counters 3-51-3-5N which count how long the connected users do not access the data base, an idle time setting part 3-3 which sets a permissible value of idle time, and a data base control part 3-1 which disconnects a terminal corresponding to a connection idle time counter whose value exceeds the set value of the idle time setting part 3-3 and allows the connection of a connection requesting terminal when the connection of the data base is requested from the terminal and the value of the connection user number counter 3-4 exceeds the set value of the connected user number setting part 3-2. |
