PURPOSE: To efficiently perform paper supply or paper ejection and to effectivery print a recording medium capable of being recycled or a recording medium for a fair copy in accordance with an image aimed by a user. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 105 decides whether the printing surface of the recording medium in the middle of being fed is in a printing finished condition or not based on the detection result of a black sensor 115 detecting whether or not printing is performed on the printing surface of the recording medium to be fed, a pressing device motor controlling part 116 switches the feeding path of the recording medium in the middle of being fed to a paper ejection carrying path or a printing feeding path based on the decision result, so that the printing finished recording medium to be ejected and fed through the paper ejecting carrying path is housed in a scrapping tray.
