PURPOSE: To provide a production unit for fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin composite material, with which homogeneous web can stably be produced by a method wherein suction drainage function in a suction box is improved at the time of forming web by paper-making method. CONSTITUTION: Continuous suction drainage is realized by making the suction drainage holes 22 of a suction board 21 in a suction box 12 in a large number of rectangular openings, each of which is normal to the running direction of a mesh belt 11, the width of each of which is nearly equal to that of the belt, which are arranged in series intermittently at equal intervals to the running direction of the belt and the interval (d') between which adjacent to each other (or the non-opening part) is set to be not more than 1/2 of the length of discontinuous fiber in order to realize continuous suction drainage. |
