<p>PURPOSE: To provide a roll gap regulator which has sufficient durable force even if a strong pressing force is received and can finely regulate the gaps of the rolls. CONSTITUTION: When an initial sheet 3 is passed, a touch roll 7 is waited at the position sufficiently separated from a casting roll 4 by the operation of a hydraulic cylinder 28. When the sheet is passed and a molten resin sheet 3 is fed while being rolled on the roll 4 from the die 2 of an extruder, the roll 7 is pressed by the cylinder 28 to be brought into contact with the sheet 3, and sandwiched under pressure to the roll 4. Since the roll 7 is driven at the same speed as the peripheral speed of the roll 4 at the peripheral speed of the roll surface, the sheet 3 is not caused by a shearing strain in the flowing direction. Then, when the roll interval is regulated, the display value of a distance measuring sensor 45 is observed to confirm the size of the gap, and then an eccentric shaft is rotated to regulate the gap interval between the rolls 4 and 7.</p> |
