<p>PURPOSE: To provide a position detector and the position indicator capable of inputting information without the need of a wide frequency area for which the constitution of the position indicator and the adjustment of a resonance frequency are simple. CONSTITUTION: A rectifier circuit 12, a capacitor 13 and a load circuit 14 composed of a switch 14a and a resistor 14b are connected to the resonance circuit 11 of this position indicator A and a saturation voltage in the capacitor 13, that is the saturation level of an induced voltage in the resonance circuit 11, is controlled corresponding to the on/off operation of the switch 14a. Thus, the difference or ratio of the respective levels of reception signals received after radio waves are transmitted with at least two kinds of transmission duration from a sense part 21 is changed and an operation to the switch 14a is discriminated from the difference or ratio of the levels.</p> |
