PURPOSE: To settle the synchronous state immediately at the time of power-on by receiving receiver's own call number to report the call and performing intermittent reception in a reception part for improvement of the battery saving efficiency and setting the radio part turning-on time to shorter at the time of failing to detect a synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION: When a synchronous detection signal is inputted to a battery saving signal generation part 12, this part 12 settles the state of synchronization with a digital signal. The battery saving signal generation part 12 outputs the battery saving signal which turns on/off a radio part 2 at a specific timing until the state of synchronization with the digital signal is settled. Meanwhile, the battery saving signal generation part 12 outputs the battery saving signal which turns on/off the radio part 2 at the timing of reception of the preliminarily determined batch including receivers' own call number after the state of synchronization with the digital signal is settled. Thus, the synchronizing signal can be received by the first start up of the radio part. |
