PURPOSE: To surely solidify and seal in industrial waste contg. various harmful metals or the like to stabilize the harmful metals, particularly Pb, so that it may not be eluted again. CONSTITUTION: Waste contg. Ca compounds such as Ca hydroxide, Ca oxide and Ca chloride is mixed with a treating agent consisting essentially of water glass, and if necessary, water is added to make adjustment so that the whole water quantity may be 25-75 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt of waste. After the mixture is kneaded, it is aged at 40-100 deg.C and for >=6hr, and it is preferably aged by using excess heat generated in a waste incinerator to warm it. |
