PURPOSE: To provide an insulator composing material as a formed product which can stand pressure rise in the inside of a switchgear due to decomposed gases evolved from a box body, inner part composing organic materials at the time of shutting high capacity current of the switchgear, which has a function to prevent the switchgear box body and the inner part composing parts from being deformed, cracked, damaged, and at the same time which is made of an organic-inorganic compounded composition having high heat resistance, low humidity absorbance, good formability, and processibility by containing an impact moderating component in the insulator composing material as a formed product for a switchgear. CONSTITUTION: An insulator composing material as a formed product made of an organic-inorganic compounded composition consisting of 26wt.% of nylon 6, 24wt.% of nylon 66, 7wt.% of an ionomer of a polyolefine copolymer as an impact moderating component, and 43wt.% of a reinforcing material is used as a box body or an inner structural material of a switchgear. The organic-inorganic compounded composition may be an organic-inorganic compounded composition consisting of 35-39wt.% of nylon 6, 8-12-wt.% of nylon 66, 1-3wt.% of nylon MXD6, 7-9wt.% of ethylene-α-olefine copolymer, 40-45wt.% of a reinforcing material.
