The invention relates to a connection device for connecting a liquid-containing bottle which is provided with a safety closure, which connection device allows the bottle to be emptied if the bottle is held upside-down, but which stops liquid from being introduced into the bottle, with a metering component. The connection device is provided with a coupling part for attaching the connection device to a bottle. The coupling piece is connected to a first chamber to which, when the connection device is arranged on the bottle, the safety closure is connected in a sealed manner, in such a manner that if the bottle is turned upside-down liquid can flow out of the bottle into the first chamber. An outlet pipe which extends into a second chamber with a cross section which is larger than the cross section of the first chamber is connected to the first chamber. At least one passage which connects the first chamber to the second chamber is arranged in the area where the outlet pipe is connected to the first chamber.
