Lighting fixture with holder members for a tubular lamp, an elongate reflector which extends above and along the location where the lamp is mounted, and a series of mirrors which are arranged transversely with respect to the reflector and below the location where the lamp is mounted, each transverse mirror comprising a bottom part which is substantially V-shaped in cross section, and side walls which are shaped in the form of a concave parabola, and a top part which is a continuation of each of the side walls but is directed out of the concave shape in a direction which is substantially perpendicular to the base surface, the top edge of the perpendicular extension of each of the side walls being designed so that it runs outwards from the centre, part of which may run parallel to the base surface, in a more or less sawtooth arrangement, in such a manner that the continuations of each of the side walls are a mirror image of one another, and in such a manner that the space between the continuations is covered by a cover between the lowest, rising parts of each set of mutually opposite sawtooth-shaped continuations of each of the side walls. <IMAGE>
