The trolley which has casters (12A,12B) comprises a trapezoidal base (1) with two sides (3) separating towards the trolley rear. There are two slatted sides (14A,14B) which pivot at the ends of the base sides. A bottom grille (32) is pivoted at the base of the first slatted side (14A). A rod (35) engages a part of the grille and the second slatted side so that raising the grille controls pivoting of the slatted sides towards the base. Circular section rods (30A,30B) in the base of each slatted side form respectively the pivoting spindle (30A) for the grille and the pivoting spindle (30B) for the rod. The rod has its ends folded to form an eyelet (52) through which the circular rod passes and an eyelet (51) passed through by a pivoting ringlet (50) under the grille.
