PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion tank capable of maintaining gas-liquid separation performance of cooling water circulating in an engine cooling device, and capable of absorbing pressure fluctuation accompanied by volume conversion of cooling water even when cooling water is excessively supplied.SOLUTION: An inside of a tank 30 is partitioned into a plurality of partition chambers R1-R6 by a partition wall 42, the partition chambers R1-R6 are communicated through a first communication hole 44 formed in a position lower than a FULL line, the partition chambers R4-R6 constituting a separation chamber group X are communicated through a third communication hole 45a formed in a position higher than the FULL line, the separation chambers R1-R3 constituting a separation chamber group Y are communicated through a fourth communication hole 45b formed in a position higher than the FULL line, and the separation chamber R1 and the separation chamber R4 are communicated through a second communication hole 45c formed in a position at the height of the FULL line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
