PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater capable of exposing a temperature sensor outside in an easy and smooth manner.SOLUTION: Vacuum heat insulation material pieces 52a, 52b are arranged at a radial outer periphery part of a can body 2 and further foamed heat insulation material pieces 55, 56 are arranged at a radial outer periphery part of the vacuum heat insulation material pieces. In addition, a thermistor 29 is arranged between the vacuum heat insulation material piece 52a and the can body 2. Further, at the side part foamed heat insulation material piece 56 is provided with an opening or closing planned part 65 defined between a vertical groove 61 and a vertical groove 62. When the thermistor 29 requires its maintenance work, the opening or closing planned part 65 is turned around a fulcrum point of a part between the vertical groove 62, 62 at one side in a peripheral direction and acts as an opening or closing door. Opening of the opening or closing door causes the vacuum heat insulation material piece 52a to be exposed, and a part near a location where the thermistor 29 is arranged is peeled up to enable the thermistor 29 arranged at the rear side of the vacuum heat insulation material piece 52a to be exposed outside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
