Road sign with swinging panels for use during road-works

The road sign has a fixed panel (12) with one or more movable panels (20,22,24) mounted on it. Regularly spaced grooves (18) are situated along a longitudinal axis. A removable assembly component (28) has an attachment (34) which can be inserted in the groove and is attached to a first surface (12a) of the panel. Cylindrical clips (32) define a guide channel slightly perpendicular to the longitudinal axe and projecting from the second surface (12b) of the panel. The cylindrical clips have two flanges (42,44), and pass through slots in the movable panels clipping into the grooves in the fixed panel. The panels may also have a hook which clips into the cylindrical clip.
