Protection for knuckles of esp. young players of combat sports e.g. boxing, karate

The protection is a preformed absorbent element (E) which fits over the back surface of the knuckles. Two straps (F) extend from either side of the element and are fixed together round the hand by strips of hooked pile fasteners (H) in the palm of the hand. The absorbent element is made from a plate of foam and is shaped by heating it in a mould. The straps are about 20 mm wide and are long enough to be fastened round the hand. The length of the fastener strips is about 35 mm.
