Structural panel resistant to high fire temperatures

The light fire resistant panel has a metal core and a metal skin forming a sandwich structure. The core (2) is composed of a steel sheet which is locally cut and opened out to form cells (6). The height of the cells corresponds to the core thickness. A first steel skin (3) is electrically welded to the core using MAG, MIG or TIG. A second skin (3) is welded to the core by transparent LASER welding. Both skins are in galvanised steel. Welding of the skin is by a brazing technique achieved by fusing the zinc coating of the core and the skins.
