A ferrite core is disclosed to regulate the characteristics of the magnetic field inside the deflecting yoke. The deflecting yoke of a color CRT comprises a prominence and depression part for generating a localized magnetic field at 1/3 position of its ferrite core, where a left/right or upper/down position of a neck is symmetric, thereby solving a misconvergence problem.
