A main friction stage (45) is axially arranged on either side of one (14) of the guide discs (13, 14) surrounding a hub plate (22) comprising two bearing discs (47, 48) arranged on either side of said guide disc and joined together by axial braces (49) extending through said guide disc (14), a friction disc (50) rotationally coupled to said hub plate (22) and inserted between the guide disc (14) and one bearing disc (48), and a resilient clamping disc inserted between said guide disc and the other bearing disc. This arrangement enables enhanced control of the frictional load.
