The invention pertains to a device and process for actuating a torque transmission system, such as a clutch with a gearbox that has a control member for shifting the gears, e.g. a gearshift lever (811), and an actuator (804) connected to the control member on the gearbox side, on a central control unit. The inventive concept provides that the at least one actuator sensor (800) or two actuator sensors (800, 801) are coupled in such a way that the travel along the two relevant coordinate directions (translational axis and rotational axis (805)) is detected by means of a one-dimensional sensor (800, 801). Further, the control member sensor (809) detects essentially the shifting travel. The gross information from the sensors allows the signals to be separated according to the coordinate directions of selector travel and shifting travel. When two sensors as per the above process are coupled "diagonally" to the actuator, that is, each one-dimensional sensor senses motion along a projection of a two-dimensional travel, then one sensor can guarantee emergency operation if the second sensor fails, because essentially all essential information is present. |
