A stair component (24) is proposed for restoring a step (10) in a stairway. It comprises a tread (12) with an arris (20) which has a rear face (22), and an adjusting step (16) comprising a tread plate (26) with an impact section (28) and an adjusting plate (30). In the interests of simple construction of the stair component, it is proposed that the adjusting plate (30) which covers the adjusting step (16) should support the tread plate (26, 28). |
