The invention relates to a conversion element which can be arranged on a pixelated, radiation-emitting semiconductor chip. The conversion element has a backing layer, a conversion layer, and an intermediate layer arranged between the backing layer and the conversion layer. The backing layer has a radiation-permeable backer material. The conversion layer has a conversion material for radiation conversion. The intermediate layer has an intermediate layer material having a refractive index which is smaller than a refractive index of the backer material and a refractive index of the conversion material. The invention further relates to an optoelectronic component having a pixelated, radiation-emitting semiconductor chip and a conversion element, and to a method for producing a conversion element.
