FIELD: rotary eternal calendars. SUBSTANCE: calender is manufactured in the form of cylinder. Its surface is divided into rectangles making columns and rings. For multiple usage of calender by free movement of days of week relative to dates of month it is cut into four composite cylinders. Two extreme cylinders carry on their surfaces dates of month grouped into two blocks amounting to seven columns. They are rigidly interconnected by means of two external straps along to form casing in which two middle cylinders turn freely. Months of year are inscribed on straps. Middle cylinders carry on their surfaces names of days: one for January-February (two rings); the other one - days combined for March-December (five rings). Each ring carries days of three weeks arranged in sequence and inscribed or designated by some symbols. Into necessary position they are set by turn by first dates of January and March. Unused surfaces of cylinders are covered by decorative screen attached to extreme cylinders. Calendar is made of metal, ceramics, glass and wood taking into account its multiple usage. EFFECT: capability of multiple usage of calender. |
