Polymer mixts. (I) contain (A) 1-99 wt.% polyarylene sulphide(s) (PAS) and (B) 1-99 wt.% polyarylene sulphoxide(s) (PASO). Also claimed is a process for the prodn. of crosslinked or partly crosslinked PAS-contg. moulding materials by heating (partly) oxidised PAS contg. sulphoxide gps., or a mixt. or blend contg. PAS and PASO or oxidised PAS, at 280-400 (pref. 280-380) degrees C.
