PHASE-BY-PHASE SHIELDED CURRENT LEAD

摘要

FIELD: power engineering; up to 24-kV voltage generators designed to make electrical connections at power stations. SUBSTANCE: current lead is provided with external metal cap fixed on top head of insulator and incorporating hole for receiving a spring. The latter placed between top part of metal cap and current- carrying bus is of conical shape which makes it possible to flatten bus mass in case of action of electrodynamic forces so that reliable contact is set up between bus and insulator. Bottom part of support insulator is also of female design which raises its reliability. Novelty is that support insulator dispenses with upper metal hardware reinforced in inner space of porcelain body and that external metal cap and conical spring are introduced. EFFECT: improved reliability, reduced material input, and simplified installation procedure.
