FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: method for protection of stabilizing secondary power supply, which has half-bridge inverter with independent excitation and is controlled by pulse-width modulator, involves generation of signal that is proportional to current in load and signal that is proportional to total current consumed by power supply, comparison of said signals against given values. If at least one signal exceeds given value, duration and frequency of pulses generated by pulse-width modulator are decreased. pulse-width modulator is supplied by voltage which equals to amplitude of rectified output voltage of secondary power supply. Rectifying elements of inverter are switched to mode with low rate, when they are switched OFF. EFFECT: increased reliability of protection against overload in current. |
