Securing plastics foils in gas ducts or chambers

The gas ducts or chambers are passed by hot and/or aggressive gases and consist of metal. The inside lining plastics foil is secured by nail pin fasteners, passing through the duct etc. wall and resting with their heads against an intermediate metal washer. The nail pins are driven through the foil into the duct etc. wall by a bolt push or firing tool. Pref. between the foil and the metal washer is located a plastics backing disc. The driven pin head may be covered by a plastics cap welded to the foil.
